- I still fail to see where it dithers. gif.datatype dithers,
- jfif.datatype dithers, but picture.datatype just allocates
- colors. This _is_ a problem if you need more colors than
- are available and it is especially ugly when the image is
- dithered and the color allocation choses the wrong colors.
- A simple strategy that sorts the colormap would minimize
- the ugliness though.

- picture.datatype (and the removal of dithering in the subclasses).
